About

The craft shop Tkač (Weaver) was founded in 2013 in Zrenjanin, Serbia. The founder and owner of the shop, Zoran Slijepčević, is a textile engineer and weaver with a Certificate for Old and Artistic Crafts, issued by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia.

The shop has several wooden looms for professional weaving of various types of fabrics, using traditional handweaving techniques adapted to the modern lifestyle.

All fabrics are unique, made from natural materials, but smaller batches of the same types of fabrics can be woven upon request.

In addition to fabric production, we also offer complete handweaving training courses, for which we use special looms. Each participant works on their own loom during the training, and all fabrics made during the training are given to the participants as a gift.

In addition to the aforementioned training courses, we also run various types of one-day and multi-day workshops for children and adults. We cooperate with kindergartens and schools. All workshops for children are free of charge. Moreover, the shop often participates in various humanitarian events.
